3. AUTO POLICY DECLARATION

Email us your Auto Policy Declaration page. This is the page that shows your coverage. Please put your last name on the image/pdf you send us.

4. MEDICAL RELEASE

Download and print the Tam Medical Release Form, have your rider’s doctor sign it, then email us the completed form.

5. Team dues

Team dues are $400 per rider for the season, covering equipment, race food, coach / ride leader training and certification, team swag, team IT costs, and more.

Dues also apply to each rider receiving an $85 credit toward a team jersey. All Freshmen must get a jersey. Returning riders can apply an $85 credit in the Jakroo store to another piece of team kit.

6. NICA REgistrAtion & GET CONNECTED

After you complete your Rider Registration form we will send team members and parents invitations for the sites below.

NICA Pit Zone: To register with NICA and for all league communications and race registrations.

We are categorized as a club, but we behave like a varsity sport and are a competitive cross country mountain bike race team.

TAM MTB TEAM 2026 SEASON KICKOFF MEETING - MANDATORY FOR ALL

Thursday, November 13th, 2025, 6:45 - 8:45 PM
At the Mill Valley Clubhouse, 283 Buena Vista Ave, Mill Valley
We’ll be hosting an informational meeting about the upcoming season for all prospective riders and parents, explaining NICA and NorCal and sharing the excitement of what it means to ride for Tam High. You’ll learn everything you need to know in order to register and prepare for the 2026 season.
MANDATORY BIKE AND HELMET CHECK

Monday, November 17th, 3:30 - 5
The back parking lot of Tam High
Open-house style: come between 3:30 and 5 to have your bike and helmet inspected. This is a mandatory safety check in order to ride with the team.
SKILLS CLINIC FOR FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, AND NEW FOLKS

December 7th, 9am sharp.
Meet at the Depot in downtown Mill Valley. We gather at the old Gravity Car.
This is mandatory for freshmen and sophomores and any new juniors and seniors joining the team.

The Tam High MTB Team races regionally in the NorCal League. NorCal is a Chapter League within the national organization called NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association). Their mission: We build strong minds, bodies, character, and communities through cycling.

The Tam High Mountain Bike team is run solely by super cool parent volunteers. Your head coaches, Sami and Scott are passionate mountain bikers with real jobs. They love seeing kids on bikes and dedicate their spare time to helping the team find success.
